CPR Demonstration

During the Youth Leadership Training Programme 2025 at KIIT, the NSS KINS unit organized a vital CPR Demonstration to equip attendees with essential medical skills. NSS volunteers demonstrated correct Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation techniques, highlighting the critical importance of timely chest compressions and rescue breaths during cardiac emergencies. The hands-on session provided participants with practical knowledge and the confidence to act swiftly in life-threatening situations. This initiative successfully fostered health awareness and emergency preparedness, empowering young leaders to save lives and effectively serve their communities.

Anti-Ragging Flashmob

The KINS NSS unit organized a vibrant Anti-Ragging Flashmob to creatively spread awareness about fostering a safe campus environment. Held in a bustling area, volunteers captivated a large audience through an energetic dance and a brief theatrical performance that highlighted the emotional toll of ragging. By blending entertainment with a strong social message, the initiative successfully engaged the student community, promoted inclusivity, and reinforced a zero-tolerance policy against harassment. The creative event left a lasting impression, reminding everyone to stand united in ensuring a fear-free, welcoming environment for all newcomers.

NSS Orientation Programme

The NSS KINS unit successfully conducted its NSS Orientation Programme to welcome new volunteers and instill the core values of community service. A major highlight of the event was the official creation and announcement of the new NSS KINS core team, establishing the leadership framework for upcoming initiatives. Additionally, the programme featured a special felicitation ceremony honoring the dedicated volunteers who proudly represented the institution at the National Integration Camp. The event successfully inspired the newly formed team and fresh inductees to collaborate effectively toward meaningful social welfare and community development.

Mega Blood Donation Camp

The NSS KINS Unit, in collaboration with KIMS Hospital, organized a Mega Blood Donation Camp on 31st January at Campus 13. The camp was a successful initiative promoting humanity and social responsibility, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students, staff, and volunteers. Around 150 donors contributed to this noble cause, highlighting the importance of saving lives and encouraging community service among youth. Proper medical support and arrangements ensured the smooth conduct of the event. The initiative reflected unity, compassion, and dedication toward society, making the blood donation camp a remarkable success.
